Threshold Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy is effective as of 11 October 2026.
Welcome to Threshold.
This document follows the same Definitions and Applicable Goods and Services as in our Privacy Policy, and this Acceptable Use Policy applies to your use of our Applicable Goods and Services.
At Threshold, we respect your privacy and want to give the best level of our service and care to your use of our products. However, we have to make sure that our products are safe and secure for everyone, especially when interacting with our online-hosted Websites and Web Services.
To make sure that our Web Services are running securely, you may not use our Applicable Goods and Services to:
- Identify the private data and information that are stored or submitted by our Users about Data Subjects other than you.
- If you are a captured Data Subject and would like to execute Your Rights applicable to our Privacy Policy, you may only access and manage the Data Subject that represents you, not others.
- Inject malicious computer code, scripts, or malware that may interfere with the normal operation of our Applicable Goods and Services.
- Distribute and/or submit information that may lead to promotion of terrorism, illicit drugs, pornography, and/or child sexual abuse (CSAM).
- Distribute spam content against our Users and our general audiences in our Websites.
We may take our preventative measures to block your access to our Websites and/or Web Services in case of repeated attempts of such abuse. These actions will consequentially affect you and others’ available features in Threshold Mobile Applications. For more information on which Mobile Applications features are dependent on our Websites and Web Services, refer to the Enabling Functionalities in Mobile Applications section in our Privacy Policy.
What happens if I am blocked?
We partner with Cloudflare to manage our web security policies against unauthorised use of our Websites and Web Services. If your access to our Websites and/or Web Services are blocked by Cloudflare, you will receive an error message with a HTTP error code ranging from 1000 to 1999. For more detailed information on how Cloudflare presents this error information to you, visit https://developers.cloudflare.com/support/troubleshooting/http-status-codes/cloudflare-1xxx-errors/.
If you believe that you are mistakenly blocked, for example, due to others sharing your Internet network and against our Acceptable Use Policy, you can refer the public IP address and/or Cloudflare Ray ID to us at [email protected].
